Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Carol Service 2019 – The Manor House

The ‘new’ Beavers (who meet each Thursday). named the ‘Jupiter’ Colony, are visiting the Manor House Care Home on Brunton Park to take part in the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony and join in with the carol singing led by the church choir. A local celebrity is expected to be present to perform the switch on of the Christmas tree lights and set off some fireworks. This is a very popular event within the local community and a good chance to get dressed up in warm festive hats and scarfs and open the celebrations in seasonal style.
