Scout Winter Camp – Hawkhirst Adventure Camp – Kielder, Northumberland

The annual Winter Camp is very popular and attracts national interest from all Scout Groups across the UK. This year’s event was perhaps the biggest and best ever (although there was no snow). Scouts camped out and catered outdoors meeting Scouts from other places. An arrangement of food stations and hot drink stops to ensure everyone was well served to keep warm were situated across the site. The silent disco, virtual racers, late night cinemas and indoors tents activities, added to the already numerous team building activities on site, meant everyone was really busy making friends and having fun.
